Brian Tondryk, Owner and Founder, cherishes the significance of family tradition. Carrying on the legacy of his grandfather, Fred Bartoli, he craved to create an experience for pizza lovers similar to his own. Growing up, Brian witnessed his grandfather build his own pizza empire and succeed at every turn. Fully understanding the pizza industry, Brian scratched his entrepreneurial itch and founded Bartoli’s Pizzeria in 2013.
After perfecting his grandfather’s recipe and deciding the world needed to try it, Brian opened shop. Located in the heart of Roscoe Village with a second location opening in the West Town, Bartoli's has established itself as a go-to pizza destination for Chicagoans and tourists alike. The awards and media buzz are great, but it's the tried and tested family recipe that has customers crowning Bartoli's as "their kind of pizza."
